You Online Animal Control and Welfare Guide

  • Before you start thinking about going to the shops to buy yourself a bestselling book, you can take a moment to think about buying the books that you want online. Prices are simply much lower on the Internet for both new and used textbooks. Online sellers have to keep prices lower because competition between Web-based sellers is fierce and buyers can compare prices in seconds. The online market is transparent while bricks and mortar retailing allows no product comparisons for shoppers. The Internet is not restrained by walls so students have a huge choice of textbooks at a wide variety of prices brand new, used copies a few months’ old, used copies a few years old and so on. Buying books online is the fastest method you can start using for both you and your friends. And after buying them the company that you bought it from will deliver it to your house on the given date. You may have a book you need to buy for a book club or class, but if you’re looking for something to read recreationally and don’t know where to start, the internet can help. The internet has precipitated the growth of book exchange clubs that allow you to list your books, send them to other users who request them, earn points for the transaction and get the books you want in exchange. These sites are an inexpensive and fun way to get your hands on a book you’re looking for while passing on your own past reads.
Remember when you shop online you must not give your personal information because you might not know if you are talking with people or someone who just wants to eat of your money. So be careful of these kind of scams, you won’t know it but you will find out when the process is done so be wise to recognize that. The signs will be there if you see that something is not right then leave as soon as possible.
You don’t want to be a victim then pay attention to detail and you won’t come across any trouble and once you have got your books with you, you can begin reading your books.

  • Feline facts:
There is usually a cub that is dominant in each tiger litter. The dominant cub is number one in play and the cub has a tendency to be more active than the rest of the litter. The dominant cub usually leaves the litter quite early.
Lion cubs only become independent when they are about sixteen months old. The males leave the pride, yet the female cubs stay on.
The existence of both lions and tigers is endangered in the wild. Cats come in two groups; these are domestic cats and the other group includes large cats such as lion, tigers, leopards, Black Panther, the jaguar as well as other species. All cats hunt by stalking their prey in complete silence.
    Lions:
The lion, according to the International Union for Conservation of Nature’s Red List, is at risk in the wild, which means that unless steps are taken to curb this trend, the lion could become extinct. A pride of lions usually consists of 35 animals. Female lionesses usually do all the hunting, with the pride working in a team as they hunt. The lion pride usually consists of a male and a couple of females. While the job of the lion is to protect the pride the females are usually the hunters. The coat of the lion is the colour of dried grass in order to keep the cats camouflaged so that they can hunt undetected. The jaw of the lion can be opened up 28 cm wide which enables it to kill buck or zebra with ease. The roar of the lion is said to be the loudest of all cats.
    Tigers:
Tigers are larger and more agile than lions, but lions are better equipped than tigers physically.
Tigers hunt in the dark and their gold colour and markings are ideal camouflage in the surrounding jungle environment in which they hunt.
The International Union for Conservation of Nature is the authority on the conservation of all animals. The tiger is on the red list as being endangered, and what is saddest of all is that there are only about 3 500 tigers left in the wild.

  • Animal trainer, Mark Dumas from Canada, has forged a remarkable friendship with 381kg polar bear, Agee. Dumas has been working with the polar bear since she was a cub about sixteen years ago, and they are now best friends.
They kiss, wrestle and play with each other, romping and swimming together, and he even puts his head inside her jaws (brave man)!
Dumas is not even afraid of Agee when the bear rears up on her hind legs, reaching her full height, of 2,1 meters.
Agee has acted in many films and also television ads, with Mark training her to appear the various roles.
She appeared in the movie “Alaska” in 1995.
Because Mark has been training bears for over forty years, he is able to “read” the body language of bears, and also be able to “read” Agee’s body language.
Bears are massive and are one of the largest mammals on land and are able to easily kill with the hit of a paw.
Agee has been reared by hand, and every day is a privilege being with her, according to Mark.
